This course gives an introduction into 3D-CAD (computer aided design)
and PDM (product data management).

Starting from the product life cycle approach the modern information
technologies are being introduced to explain their impact on the product
development process.

Excercises on a modern 3D-CAD-system are being offered to deepen the
knowledge about this technology and to experience the CAD- and PDM-
technology pratically.
