Introduction to water analysis in hydrogeological sciences:
- Chemical characteristics of natural water
- Classical analytical methods, on-site analyses, water sampling
- Spectrophotometry
- Atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS)
- Inductively-coupled-plasma mass-spectrometry (ICP-MS)
- Chromatographic methods: GC, HPLC, IC.
Water sampling in the field, qualitative and quantitative analysis of major anions and cations as well as organic compounds in the field and in the laboratory, electronic ion balance, check of plausibility and quality, typing due to classification schemes, conclusion on groundwater flow and residence times.
