Digitale Lehre
The lecture gives an overview of the history and application areas of digital text analysis in the humanities. The methodological peculiarities of digital literary studies will be discussed in detail. In addition, individual digital analysis methods (e.g., stylometry, network analysis, topic modeling, data frame manipulation) are explained in detail.
The lecture starts with a zoom meeting in which the semester plan and the examination modalities are discussed. Afterwards, the individual lectures are made available weekly as screencast (video with spoken explanations of the slides). In between there is a zoom meeting for questions and feedback.
The lecture is intended for beginners to get started and for advanced students for orientation.
