Digital Teaching
The lecture will be held online on Zoom and will be recorded. The exercises will also be discussed online on Zoom. The web links will be made available unter "materials" at the beginning of the semester.

Lehrinhalte
Lecture: Structure and function of biological macromolecules. Structure and function of motor proteins. Single molecule microscopy. Structure and functional integration of central structures of living cells into the cellular context exemplified by replication, transcription, translation, posttranslational modification and cellular transport. Precision of genetic information, cellular repair systems and medical significance and applications.

Exercises: Consolidation of lecture topics by discussion of case studies, literature research on the function of individual components in biological macromolecules as well as consolidation of knowledge in the field of structure-function relationship of biomacromolecular complexes
