- Structuring a scientific paper: abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion
- Writing style: punctuation, parallelism, paragraph flow, conciseness, common mistakes
- Developing and sustaining academic arguments
- Finding relevant, peer-reviewed sources
- Quotations and citations

Learning Outcomes:
- The course aims to teach the fundamentals of effective scientific writing in English.
- The course will enable the students to write well-researched, well-organized, and well-argued scientific papers.
- Students know the structure of a scientific manuscript.
- They can write effectively, concisely, and clearly.
- They will know how to present scientific contents in English in an appropriate, well structured, and well understandable way.

Final Grade: 10% Abstract, 20% Bibliography, 70% State-of-the-Field Essay
