This course introduces the theory of compressible and irrotational flows (potential theory). It deals with steady and unsteady supersonic flows, compression shock waves and expansion waves, oblique and detached shock waves, flows around lifting surfaces and added masses.
Die Vorlesung führt in die Theorie kompressibler und rotationsfreier
Strömungen (Potentialtheorie) ein. Behandelt werden stationäre und
instationäre Überschallströmungen, Verdichtungsstöße und
Expansionswellen, schräge und abgelöste Verdichtungsstöße, Strömungen um
Auftriebskörper und virtuelle Massen.
