In this course, students will have the opportunity to practice and improve their English skills within the area of Industrial Engineering. In addition to the reading of authentic texts from magazines such as The Economist, English skills will be practiced with topics such as Product Descriptions, Engineering Materials, Engineering Ethics, Supply Chain Management and Job Application. These topics will be handled through regular partner and group activities and class discussions. Students that take the course for a grade are required to give a presentation.
Literature
Material will be made available for a small fee
Voraussetzungen
A score of at least 65 on the placement test, a good working knowledge of general English, familiarity with some basic terminology in your specialist area, interest in exchanging ideas
