Please note that there will be an introductory session for this course. At this time the instructor and students will discuss course dates and times for the semester.
This course is aimed at students who already have a good knowledge of Russian, either because it is their heritage language or they have learned it in school, for example. The goal of the course is to be able to communicate well orally using technical/scientific language. Grammar skills and oral competence will be improved through discussion of various topics. We will be working with various current technical/scientific texts, which will be handed out in class. The course concludes with a final exam and/or an oral presentation.
