This course is designed for learners with a previous basic knowledge of Kurdish and/or who speak Kurdish with their family as a heritage language.
Lessons will be taught using the Latin script.
The goal of the course is to work on speaking, writing and reading skills in the context of social, family and academic situations in everyday life.
We will work on improving vocabulary and grammar and explain the variations and differences between written and spoken Kurdish. We will also address cultural aspects of Kurdish life and practise elements of intercultural competence.
The lessons in this course will proceed at a rapid pace. Please plan to make time for homework assignments and studying the course material.
