A simple topic is assigned to individual students or to small groups of students. The subject matter may vary with the instructors choice of a general theme. The seminar may have a project format. Each participant gives a one hour presentation to the seminar. Students give feedback on the methods of presentation employed by the speaker. Every student compiles his or her talk into a written paper.
