Lehrinhalte
Mathematics in their cultural and historical context from antiquity to present day. Embedded within among other topics:
- Numbers from antiquity to modern times;
- Irrational numbers, Fibonacci numbers, continued fractions;
- Infinity from Zenon to Cantor;
- Infinitely small quantities, measure theory, and non-standard analysis;
- School mathematics versus university mathematics;
- Astronomy and mathematics.
