Microeconomics (Lecture): The module introduces basic concepts in microeconomics, enabling students to independently assess microeconomic problems. It covers methods and concepts for the analysis of decision problems of households and firms. It also analyzes the market interaction of producers and consumers. Finally, it considers situations when markets are efficient and discusses conditions under which market failure justifies government intervention. Consumption theory and household decisions, production theory and firm decisions, market equilibrium under perfect and imperfect competition, game theory, asymmetric information
