Chinese V/VI builds on the knowledge acquired in Chinese I/II and Chinese III/IV. We will improve on the four skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. Texts will no longer be in Pinyin. We will use the text book China entdecken 2 to focus on advanced grammar, including: perfect, passive, modal verbs, simple and complex directional complements, conjunctions and idioms. Themes will include the weather, daily life, the classroom, and Chinese holidays.
