ATTENTION:

Whether and in which context the event will take place in the winter semester 21/22 has not yet been finally clarified!
Lehrinhalte
The lecture deals with the basics of the dynamic structural response applying
selected examples of dynamic problems in the field of civil engineering.
Therefore both time varying actions and the character-istics of the dynamical
excited structure (mass, stiffness, damping) has to be taken into account.
The main contents of the lectures and the courses are:
- Dynamic actions (earthquake, wind, railway and road traffic, etc.)
- Frequency domain analysis, time domain analysis
- Design for earthquake according to EC 8 / DIN 4149
- Determination of the structural response due to gust excited vibrations
(spectral method of Davenport) and design for wind according to DIN 1055-4
- Traffic induced vibrations of structures (railway traffic, road traffic,
human traffic)
Literature
will be announced
