Official Course Description
The courses Trinkwassergüte und Wasseraufbereitungstechnik I und II first teach the students the legal basics of drinking water supply as well as the basics of hydrochemistry in order to use this knowledge to get to know the different processes for drinking water treatment. The knowledge imparted is applied in a course assignment as a homework exercise, in which those properties of the raw water (parameters) are to be determined from a raw water analysis that are in need of improvement and thus require treatment, which are to be dimensioned, outlined and elaborated, as well as in an examination assignment, which consists of a written exam (2/3 weighting) and an oral exam (1/3 weighting).

Zusätzliche Informationen
Only in conjunction with Trinkwassergüte und Wasseraufbereitungstechnik II. The course contents are taught continuously in both courses.
