Good knowledge of methods of empirical economics is required.

Official Course Description
This course presents new insights on innovation processes, focusing on the activities of individuals and individual firms. The key issue to be discussed is what is the impact of market dynamics and innovation activity on economic development (e.g., within a particular industry or region).
