This seminar provides an introduction and overview of scientific research in Information Systems. Basic scientific principles of research and three different research methods will be introduced.
The seminar will be taught in an interactive style where we will discuss papers together, and try to apply what we have learned to internalize and challenge it.
We will work together to develop a deeper understanding of how to interpret research findings and conduct meaningful research in Information Systems. The course will consist of lectures as well as short student presentations and collaborative discussions.
