Digital Teaching
The lecture will be offered in the winter semester 2022/2023 in presence. In case this should not be possible, the lecture content will be made available to the students via prepared videos via Moodle. Parallel to the videos, there will be digital office hours via videoconference in which the lecture content can be discussed. By participating in the video conference, students agree to use the conference tool for digital teaching.
Lecture slides will be made available via Moodle.

Corrosion and wear are discussed as significant damage mechanisms. In the lecture, students are familiarized with the damage mechanisms and sensitized to them. Characterization and evaluation methods with regard to corrosion and wear are dealt with intensively in order to enable the selection of a suitable (protection) system in terms of sustainable use of materials and resources.
