Official Course Description
The course provides a first basal insight into issues of text encoding using XML and the principles of the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI). Under guidance, students gain a first practical insight into issues of encoding philological data and learn the importance of standardized structured formats. They learn how to use suitable software (Oxygen).
