Course Contents
This course discusses applications of microeconomic theory, such as industrial organization and behavioral economics, and empirical approaches to analyze business start-ups and their development. The course focuses on the evaluation of the role of entrepreneurs in the macroeconomy and the microeconomic performance of young businesses. It also addresses the effects of government policies and economic fluctuations on entrepreneurs as well as the organization and financial structure, development, and allocational decisions of growing entrepreneurial ventures.
