Digital Teaching
How is digitization, and digital technologies more generally, being used by cultural heritage organisations such as museums, galleries, libraries and archives (GLAM)? How are digital technologies supporting new forms of onsite and remote access to GLAM holdings? What new opportunities and difficulties is digitization opening for the academic use and research of cultural heritage collections? These are the questions that will be explored during this excursion to London, during which time students will have the opportunity to take guided tours of selected heritage organisations, meet curators and view a heritage digitization lab.
