The workshop will explore different types of contemporary wall art with a focus on painting and graphic design. This type of art is international and its various forms can be found in almost any city in the world. Art on the walls can both significantly increase the attractiveness of a building or structure and the area around it, or cause negative emotions. Wall art objects can be created for long-term use or be temporary, as well as serve multiple functions. For example, protective fabric on the walls of buildings that are under construction or being renovated/restored. In this case, an interesting creative challenge may be the question of reusing a significant amount of this protective fabric after the construction work is completed. The outcome of this course will be the development of various art design ideas for protective fabrics for building construction, as well as proposals for their reuse. The best idea will be implemented as part of a practical workshop during the summer semester.
