Water properties (density, viscosity, compressibility)

Hydrodynamic basics (flow characteristics, parameters, continuity approach)

Channel hydraulic basics (flow formula and shear stress)

Hydromorphological basics (erosion, sedimentation, transport of solids in water bodies)
Practical applications

    Flood protection

    Watercourse development, renaturation

    Hydropower utilisation

    Inland navigation and hydraulic engineering
Project work in small groups

Group work tasks adapted to current hydraulic engineering topics
