Course Contents
Design and construction of bridges is one of the most demanding tasks
of an engineer and takes therefore a central position in the field of
civil engineering. Again and again bridge projects have given decisive
impulses for innovations, in particular regarding new materials,
construction methods and the development of structural analysis and
design philosophy.
The course teaches practically the basis to planning, construction and
structural design of reinforced and prestressed concrete bridges.
Furthermore, the different construction methods and the conceptional
possibilities and the design of scaffoldings will be taught.

Notation for Master-Students:
The course can be chosen as a C-Modul of the Masterprogram of study.
