Course Contents
This advanced scientific/technical course is designed for Bachelor’s students of cognitive science to take them from high intermediate to low advanced English language proficiency (high B2 to mid C1). Students will focus on improving their reading, vocabulary and discussion skills (both participation and leading) with the use of cognitive science texts in small groups. Students will summarize and discuss articles in small groups, paying particular attention to clear communication, extracting the take-home message and appropriate pragmatics (e.g. turn-taking, politeness, etc.).
