Course Contents
Concepts of sequence stratigraphy, required data sets, seismic stratigraphy, classification of sedimentary basins, plate tectonic framework, subsidence, thermic evolution, filling pattern, diagenesis and evolution of porosity-permeability. Selected case studies with focus on reservoir geology, e.g. oil, gas, groundwater, and geothermal energy.
