Course Contents
The course starts with an introduction to soil physics, i.e. physical properties, water content, hydraulic potential, and unsaturated flow. Furthermore, it deals with the soil water balance and in particular with the two components groundwater recharge and evapotranspiration. At the end of the course an introduction to the modeling software HYDRUS with practical applications is given.
