Lehrinhalte
Im Rahmen des Moduls werden Grundlagen der Physiologie und Anatomie aus den Bereichen: Lunge, Nerven, Zentralnervensystem, Herz, Niere, Gerinnung und Magen-Darm-Trakt vermittelt. Im Weiteren werden ausgewählte Pathologien und Erkrankungen dargestellt. Darauf aufbauend werden aktuelle Gerätetechnologien zur Überwachung und Monitoring der diversen Körperfunktionen vorgestellt. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem Verständnis und Interpretation von normalen und pathologischen Messergebnissen.

Course Contents
Within the scope of the module, basic physiology and anatomy from the areas of: Lung, Nerves, Central Nervous System, Heart, Kidney, Coagulation and Gastrointestinal Tract. Furthermore, selected pathologies and diseases are presented. Based on this, current technologies for monitoring and surveillance of diverse body functions are presented. Emphasis is placed on understanding and interpreting "normal" and pathological measurement results.
