As spatial practitioners, we design spaces that guide or prescribe movements, activities, and behaviours.
Nonetheless, how such acts are subsequently felt and performed by so-called end users is rarely fully taken into account.
When designing spaces, we quickly turn to preconceived normative notions of what programmatic functions should
support. In that light, we believe that architecture schools are sites where such concerns should be addressed.
We will collectively develop a research by design experiment which aims at generating critical reflection through design
work by means of visual, physical, spatial and discursive outputs proper to disciplinary practice.
