·       Supply and demand impact on regional traffic systems

·       Intelligent Transport Systems, i.e. autonomous driving

·       Motorway traffic control and toll roads

·       Current and future challenges and developments in traffic and transportation

 

Students have to submit a written homework assignment based on the lectures.

Sustainability Reference of the Course Contents
Efficient transport systems are essential for the economy and prosperity of a society, but at the same time they must be designed and operated in an environmentally friendly manner. Changes in social values and technological developments, such as sharing mobility, digitalization, autonomous driving, electric mobility and intelligent mobility, are becoming more and more important and have an impact on the planning of such transport systems. The goal of this course is to create urban strategy to develop regional transport systems to ensure sustainable and resilient mobility and accessibility of their future.
