Course Contents
The lecture teaches the following basics of Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology using examples from transportation infrastructure:
- BIM definitions and BIM Use Cases
- geometric and parametric modelling for transportation infrastructure
- manufacturer-neutral data exchange formats (IFC, BCF, etc.)
- BIM project flow and process modelling
- Forms of collaborative cooperation
- Application of the BIM process on the example of infrastructure projects
- Modeling and attribution of infrastructure projects

Will be announced at the beginning of the course.
Preconditions
Recommended: Verkehr I (13-J0-M001) and Verkehr II (13-J0-M002) (or equivalent knowledge)
