As information systems (IS) researchers, we aim to explore the [b]design, development, use, [/b]and [b]impact of information technology [/b]to [b]support [/b]and [b]improve organizational and societal processes[/b].
In this seminar, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in ongoing research efforts under the guidance of researchers from [url=https://www.ise.tu-darmstadt.de/ise_institute/ise_team/index.de.jsp]our group[/url].
You’ll be exposed to one of the various research methods, including [b]experimental studies, surveys, qualitative interviews, case studies, and text mining[/b], and learn how to collect and analyze empirical data through both quantitative and qualitative methods.

By participating in this seminar, you will not only gain valuable experience in IS research, but also have the chance to directly contribute to our group’s research efforts.
Besides the technical research skills, this seminar also develops critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills that are valuable in any career path.

[b]Participants:[/b] 16 Bachelor and 12 Master students, working in mixed groups (~ 5 students per group)
[b]Topic: [/b]Proposed by ISE researchers who supervise and guide your research journey
[b]The assessment comprises three key components:[/b] participation in the paper development workshop, a written paper, and a final presentation.
[b]Language of papers and presentations:[/b] English or German, based on your preference
[b]Requirements: [/b]Interest in one of the mentioned research areas as well as the willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics and methods
