In this course, students work independently on a project in the field of material flow management and sustainability assessment. Possible project work may include life cycle assessment using software and databases, laboratory activities and experiments at a pilot scale plant. The developed work is documented in form of a scientific report.
During the semester students also learn about the principles of scientific writing, how to structure a scientific text and how to proper make citations.
