Course Contents
In the lecture part, the molecular cell biology methods are dealt with focusing on:
· DNA and nucleic acids: structure, function, isolation and analysis.
· Proteins: structure, function and analysis.
· Antibodies and immunoassays.
· Cell culture and cell lysis.
· Microscopy: principles and applications of transmitted light, fluorescence and confocal microscopy.
