Course Contents
Architecture and urban development are driven by the hope of creating a livable environment while promoting the common good. Urban development principals have always been an expression of this hope for a promising future, based on social, cultural, technical, and ecological progress. In this urban planning course, students will focus on the topics that are important to them for their future. Based on this, they will design a piece of city at the Messplatz in Darmstadt that gives them hope for the future.
