Digital Teaching
This course is an additional offering. Only a few participants are expected. Therefore, this course is offered within the framework of digital teaching. No face-to-face lectures are planned. The lecture slides and video recordings will be made available on moodle. The dates for the online consultation will be announced on moodle.
Oral exams are face-to-face, but can be done digitally via Zoom by appointment.
Course Contents
In our private lives, we now use laser and inkjet printers as a matter of course. And in every supermarket, you get a digtally printed receipt. Digital printing technologies are also very common in industrial applications, such as labeling of parts, inscriptions or bar and QR codes. The lecture systematically prepares the field of digital printing technologies and explains how the simple and professional devices work. The content in detail:

The lecture language is German, some slides are also in English. Exams can be given in English on special request.

The lecture is also suitable for students of other departments. Special previous knowledge from other courses of the subject area is not required.
Literature
The lecture slides and video recordings are available on moodle. Furthermore, there is an online consultation hour. No further literature is required.

Sustainability Reference of the Course Contents
Aspects of the use of sustainable paper products are discussed and the recycling cycle of paper is addressed.
