Course Contents
This course follows on from GK III/IV. However, you can also take part in this course if you have the appropriate score in the placement test.
In this course, you will deepen and expand the language knowledge you have already acquired. In addition to receptive skills (reading and listening), you will also improve your productive skills of speaking and writing in exercises thematically adapted to university life. You will also expand your academic vocabulary.
The main goal of the course is to promote your academic language skills and improve your study skills at university level.
It is recommended that you attend the Discussion and Grammar course at the same time.
Important:
In order to obtain the UNIcert® I certificate in German, you must attend and successfully complete (with a grade) German Basic Course V/VI and Discussion and Grammar. In addition, participation in and passing of the UNIcert® I examination is required. Obtaining the UNIcert® certificate by just taking courses, without the additional examination, is possible if you take and pass the following courses with a final grade: German Basic Course I/II, Basic Course III/IV, Basic Course V/VI and Discussion and Grammar.
