Course Contents
This course is the follow-up course from GK I/II. However, you can also take part in this course if you have the appropriate score in the placement test.
In this course, you will deepen and expand the German language skills you have already acquired. In addition to receptive skills (reading and listening), you will practise the productive skills of speaking and writing in exercises thematically adapted to university life while developing the appropriate vocabulary.
The overall aim of the course is to advance not only your academic language skills but your general study skills

Preconditions
The intensive courses are designed for exchange students and students who are studying at TU Darmstadt in their first semester. Please only register for this course if you have been admitted by the Language Resource Centre.
Completion of German Basic Course I/II or a score between 15 and 29 on the placement test

Requirement for course completion: two written exams, (oral) participation and homework
