Course Contents
The lecture (V3) covers advanced topics from statistical physics with many applications and simulations from physics, biology, economy, or climate dynamics. The recitations (Ü2) are 2 hours per week.
Topics
1. Nonlinear dynamics: dynamical systems, dissipative systems, bifurcation, limit cycle, chaos, strang attarctors and fractals
2. Stochastic processes: Markov processes, Chapman-Kolmogorv equation, Master equation, Fockker-Planck equation, Brownian motion
