Course Contents
The seminar provides an overview of strategies, institutions, technologies and processes dedicated to the digital preservation of cultural heritage. Using the specific example of digitising and analysing early modern foreign language textbooks, technologies and procedures ‘from book to bytes’ are presented and tested in practice. These include annotation procedures, corpus analysis tools, visualisation options and, last but not least, communication strategies from science communication and citizen science.

Ungraded: Regular and active participation, active contribution to a seminar session.
