Course Contents
In this course, students are introduced to the tasks and tools of controlling. Controllers are increasingly viewed as business partners of corporate management. Accordingly, this course is based on the coordination-oriented controlling concept, according to which the task of controlling is to coordinate the management system. Thus, in this course, students learn the tasks and tools of coordinating information systems, planning, control, personnel management, and organization. Furthermore, overarching coordination tools such as budgeting systems, key performance indicator and target systems, and transfer pricing systems are addressed.
