Official Course Description
How can technology shape spaces? In the AKA_demo2 seminar, architecture and civil engineering students are working on an interdisciplinary project to develop a new structural element for the AKA FLIEG hall. They are designing a mobile truss girder with a suspended structure that integrates media technology and transforms the hall space into flexibly usable zones. The result is a movable system that combines design and engineering expertise and makes the former mechanical engineering hall suitable for a varied range of uses.
