Digital Teaching
The seminar will take place in person.
Course Contents
The seminar covers the fundamentals and selected applications of effective field theories in physics. Building on the discussion of classical field theories, path integrals, and symmetries in Theoretical Physics V, fundamental topics such as scale separation, universality, the formalism of effective field theories, as well as specific examples, will be discussed. Participants will familiarize themselves with the lecture topic, design and deliver a presentation on the given topic, and participate in the scientific discussion.
