Pavillon der Sinne
In collaboration with the Heinz-Stillger-Foundation, we launched the competition “Sekt oder Selters” in the summer of 2024, which focused on the spa town of Bad Camberg. It was here that Heinz Stillger opened the first of his office locations and constructed several buildings in the town, including the school campus.
Bad Camberg has a long-standing spa tradition and is considered the oldest Kneipp spa in the German state of Hesse. Several Kneipp basins throughout the town, as well as the Kneipp herb garden, still bear witness today to the wellness-oriented history of this charming half-timbered town. The therapeutic use of Camberg clay is also a key component of local healthcare and is highly valued by both guests and residents.
The foundation, together with the City of Bad Camberg, is now offering the opportunity to realise one of the pavilions from the winning design. The “Pavilion of the Senses” is conceived in rammed earth made from Camberg clay. As part of this seminar, the pavilion will be constructed.
