In this two-semester seminar, our focus last semester was on contemporary women architects—their career paths, professional roles, and the many questions surrounding how women navigate and assert themselves in the field of architecture: What challenges do they face? What advantages might there be? And what do men actually think about all this? These questions also shaped our discussions.
In the upcoming winter semester, we will build on these texts and insights by publishing a book and organizing a symposium with panel discussions. Take the opportunity to meet the women you’ve always wanted to get to know!
The project is supported by TU Darmstadt as part of the Professorship Program, which aims to strengthen the visibility of women.
