"This course focuses on improving your proficiency level at an advanced level. We will be reading texts and discussing themes in areas such as the environment, society, politics, culture, etc. in order to understand, summarize, take a perspective, argue a point and to express a well-strucutered and thought-out opinion. We will be practising all four skills (reading and listening comprehension, writing and speaking). The goal is to prepare students to write the UNIcert II examination at the end of the course.
