The seminar provides insights into current projects of digital text analysis and offers the opportunity to advance own projects. We will look at the current state of research on corpus analysis in literary studies. This semester, the focus will be on the question of how the analysis of text data can be combined with the analysis of data from the reception of texts. How can digital and empirical research be brought together? We will discuss examples from our present day.
Please note: The seminar is held fortnightly, alternating with the research colloquium Digital Humanities. Towards the end of the semester, a joint open rank seminar is held for the exchange with doctoral students. The date for this will be determined.
