In this course students will learn the basics of the language in a structured and communicative environment. All four skills (reading, writing, speaking & listening) will be practiced equally. Characteristic aspects of Arabic culture will be introduced at the same time.
Learning goals: indirect speech, imperfect conjunctive, verbs with Hamza, verbs in perfect, verbs with prepositions, negation, particles, past tense, imperative, conjunctions, relative clauses
Course themes: describing your apartment, writing a postcard, daily life and work, style and living trends, weather, activities, school, planning a vacation, ordinal numbers to 10, numbers over 1,000
