Regulations (Certification and Rating), project management, profitability and development processes
2. Drive systems
Conventional and alternative drive systems, two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive concepts
3. Vehicle concept and functionality
Definition of a vehicle concept, active and passive safety, NVH, aerodynamics (functionalities)
4. Body shell - material and design
New high-strength and highly-strength steel, aluminium design, material trends regarding the body shell (carbon fiber, magnesium, etc.)
5. Body shell – Production technology
New trends regarding forming and moulding technology and mix of materials, new assembly technologies and processes
6. Module architecture and system suppliers
Main body components for vehicle manufacturing, module architecture and system suppliers

In addition to the lecture there will be an excursion to the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen.
