Lehrinhalte
The lecture deals with financial markets law in a systematic way. It guides through the subject matter in a concise and comprehensible manner, including small cases and practice questions. Supervisory, corporate and consumer protection requirements are discussed. Financial markets law is subject to profound change. Numerous initiatives at European and national level are leading to, in some cases, completely new regulations for financial market players such as credit institutions and investment service providers. The complex legislative procedure applied in financial markets law makes the matter even more complex. The aim of many provisions is to improve consumer and investor protection. Horizontal, cross-industry regulatory approaches are also being pursued.
